Within the first 12 months, we were in 4 customer labs and progressed towards initial revenues. In Sept 2014, Vistapointe was acquired by Brocade communications.

After the acquisition, at Brocade we were successful in taking the our innovations to a broader set of customers including a numbers of Tier-1 Service Providers, Large Enterprises, Data-Centers & Global Partners.

Now again, a new journey starts for us… “vitalpointz” – We are focusing our efforts on “Edge Computing”,  to enable IIOT & Smart City Applications.

Leadership Team



Before founding vitalpointz, Ravi recently was the Vice President/General Manager of Network Visibility and Analytics Business Unit at Brocade Communications. He was the founding CEO of Vistapointe Inc and successfully drove the product and market strategy that culminated the acquisition of Vistapointe by Brocade communications in Sep 2014.  Prior to that he held product & technology leadership roles at Juniper Networks, Tellabs/Vivace business unit, Ericsson and Calix. He holds a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Technology & Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University and has several patents in Internet & Communication Technologies (ICT)



Before founding vitalpointz, Jude was CTO for Network Visibility and Analytics Business Unit at Brocade Communications. He headed the engineering team that executed the product development & deployments successfully which subsequently resulted in the acquisition of Vistapointe by Brocade communications in Sep 2014. Prior to that he led development teams in various embedded, wireless and carrier networking companies like Kyocera Wireless. He holds Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamarajar University and has several patents in networking and mobile analytics technologies.



Anand Sisupalan joins the founding team at vitalpointz as Vice President Business Operations & Business Development. Before that he was the Vice President Business Development at Torres Networks, a Telecommunications & Networking startup and drove sales into Tier-1 Mobile Operators in APAC region. Anand held various leadership roles in the Indian Government Telecom sector and in start-up firms. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Tele-Communication, from College of Engineering, Trivandrum and has a multi-faceted experience, in Business development, Project Management and International Operations.



After beginning his career as a software engineer, Kevin Walsh moved into pre-sales technical support, product management and marketing. For the past twenty years, Kevin has been the principal marketing executive at a series of B2B technology startups. These include Xylan (subsequently purchased by Alcatel), an early Ethernet switching pioneer where Kevin helped build revenue from zero to over $400 million and successfully conduct an IPO; Accelerated Networks, a leader in broadband access that also executed a successful IPO; Calix, a telecom innovator that grew from zero to over $200 million during his tenure; and Cyan (purchased by Ciena), a fiber optics and software disrupter that also conducted an IPO. Kevin was president and COO of Irvine Networks, which was sold to Simple Technologies, and Interim CEO at Bsquare, a publicly traded software and services company in the IoT and AI space.

Kevin received a BS in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. He received an MBA from Pepperdine University.



Mitch is a highly successful entrepreneur with a long history of driving top-line profitability in organizations in all stages of growth.  He has deep executive sales leadership and business development experience. At Calix, he led sales for North America growing the business from $35 million to over $130 million under his leadership; Cyan, a MANO and fiber optics disrupter that led to a successful IPO and was eventually acquired by Ciena. Mitch was Vice President of carrier sales at Adtran, a publicly traded telecom leader, where he grew annual product and software revenue to over $650 million.  Most recently he was EVP of global sales and marketing for Ingenu, a B2B IOT innovator, and President of Iphotonix, where he oversaw development and commercial deployment of the world’s first SaaS SD-LAN orchestration solution for the enterprise and hospitality markets.

Mitch received a BA in Sociology/Pre-Law and Asian American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
